How can I import an existing rubric to another course? (Original)

To import an existing rubric from one Original course to another, you will need to export the rubric, from the course where it resides, to your local computer as a .zip file. Once this has been downloaded, navigate to the course where you would like it, and import it. Once it is imported you will be able to assign it to an assignment. Here are the steps:

-Navigate to the course where the rubric resides.
-Go to: Content Management>Control Panel>Course Tools>Rubrics
-select the checkbox next to the rubric and select the “Export” button.
-Select “Export to Local Computer” and “Submit.”
-Select the “Download” button.
-Navigate to the course where you would like to import it to.
-Go to: Content Management>Control Panel>Course Tools>Rubrics
-Select the “Import Rubric” button.
-Select “Browse Local Files,” select the downloaded .zip file (most likely in your “Downloads” folder, select “Open” and finally “Submit.”
-You will receive a success message once this has completed. Select “OK” and navigate to edit the assignment which you would like to assign it to.
