Although the campus size increased, there was an overall reduction in water use. The reduction is attributed to a number of on-going initiatives:
- Implemented a water leak mitigation program.
- Made efficiency improvements to water consuming equipment (HVAC cooling towers).
- Installed water efficient restroom fixtures that are low flow and motion activated.
- Rain sensors were installed in our irrigation systems.
